Dr. Julian Sanborn is birthmother to her daughter Catherine who was born in 1988. The announcment of her pregnancy with Catherine came through a dream on December 26th, 1987. What followed was a highly conscious journey of loving and caring for a child she knew she would release to a new destination. Dr. Sanborn’s conscious journey as Catherine’s birthmother has been an ongoing unfolding of deep emotion, longing, celebration, and gratitude. She has been writing about this journey since the dream of 1987 heralding the good news of new life. Grateful for the semi-open arrangments between herself and Catherine’s adoptive family, Julian has enjoyed the gift of pictures and letters over the years informing her of Catherine’s astonishing evolution. Today she is beginning a relationship with her daughter in real time.
