Happy Graduation
Today my birthdaughter graduates from high school. This day marks the conclusion of what has been for her a very successful and rich tenure as a student.
My birthdaughter arrived into the world at the precise moment that a huge thunderclap pierced the skies. It was so loud it woke the husband of a friend who was attending the birth from a sound sleep at 4:26a.m., the moment of her birth. Today she graduates to the loud crack of applause and generous, well-deserved accolades much as she entered the world to that clap of thunder.
I celebrate her as she passes over this threshold. I am grateful to her family that I have had opportunities to meet her.
Beautiful Catherine, I am so proud of you. Congratulations on your graduation day.
